"You'd better run, boys, or I'll tell those soppy girls you've been chasing all about it!" Thea yelled after them. She looked apologetically at Liore. "Err, did you need food? I can talk to Theo about serving you." She fingered her very light change purse, suddenly distracted by the dwarf. She was less impressed by him than by Liore -- Dwarven mines nearly surrounded her village, and miners would come in occasionally, as Theo had the best roast lamb and ale one could ever wish for.

His expression changed from annoyance to astonishment. ...a Dwarf? He knew it was rare for Elves to come to human lands, but even more so for Dwarves to be seen by his kind. He shook his head, remembering what he was running after the kids for. He stalked up to Silius, and grasped him by the shirt with a grin. A seedy, scary grin. No one cheated Liore out of money....Liore cheated money out of everyone else. "Come on, Let's go see my prize." He lead Silius to the barkeep, where he purchased a room, and lead the lad up the stairs, and shut the door behind them. He tugged the sash from his head, revealing his ears. "Now..before you say anything...this is not what you think." He smiled weakly. "I just want what's mine. And I can't be showin' off myself to the lot down there...especially with that frightening little stump at the bar."
He ran a hand through his hair, and held out a hand expectantly. "The money."

Silius gasped. "Er... I... you... I... right... money." Silius fumbled with his pockets and pulled out a pouch. "'ad it all counted out just in case...er... Sir Elf. I... er... I'm sorry... 'bout all this... I mean... yah." Silius handed the pouch over to Liore. "Um... can I got now Sir Elf?

"yeah sure." He quickly turned and left the room, which he would probably use later, and strode down the stairs, counting his loot happily, but not before wrapping his head up again before he came in sight of the patrons. "55...56...57.." He sauntered up to the bar, smirking to Thea.."what was this about food? And don't worry about paying..I've recently had a benefiting financial transaction." He winked, shaking the gold coinpurse.
His gaze drifted cautiously toward Grimm, a nervous expression plastered on his face. This elf seemed to be all but afraid of his own shadow. They say dwarves are miners..but this guy..he doesn't look like any miner....I wonder if...*gulp* the Templars sent him here? This can't be good. get out of here..Just eat your food and get upstairs. Sleep it off, and disappear..that's al you gotta do. Stick to the plan Liore...stick to it. They haven't found you yet, and it ain't by luck.
After his mental pep talk, he relaxed a bit, breathing out a soft sigh, eyeing the bar tender, and he held up a finger, silently asking for a mug of....anything, really.

Grimm was now good and drunk after about his twentieth mug of the bucket. The barkeep was getting alittle fearfull since the bucket was almost out and Grimm haden't stopped ordering drinks. "Ya know... what thish... bar needs! Music! Wheresh yer damned minstral! Fine, I'll supply the music then!" Grimm walked over towards Liore, "Yer... an elf, I had an Elf friend onsh... 'twas a bard he was. Are ye a bard? Naw... don't look it. Move yer self over." Without waiting for poor Liore to do so the Dwarf clambered up ontop of the bar.
"Hey! You can't go up there!" The barkeep shouted. "Oh posh, let the Dwarf sing!" A patron shouted back, followed by a chorus of assent. "Oh... fine."
Grimm smiled drunkenly at the people in the bar. "This be an old war tune, war tunes really being the only tunes ah be knowing." Grimm started singing, his gravely voice actualy complementing the music he was singing. Didn't take long before he was dancing on top of the bar, an old Dwarvish dance called the Cossack. He clapped his hands to the beat as his feet flew, and soon enough the patrons were clapping and laughing, though none of them knew enough Dwarvish to join in.

He laughed faintly, tugging the sash tighter down over his head, making sure to hide his ears better this time. He spotted the mug that had been handed to him, and he chugged away at it as the dwarf violently danced and sung. He held his hand against his forehead. Oh gods...don't let him kick me.
He then tunred his gaze to Thea, who had been rather quiet, and he tilted his head slightly, but then returned his attention back to the...sludge he had been handed. He made a face as it seemed to bubble in protest, and took another swig.
"kee..hee hee....." He snickered after a while, a fox-like grin on his face.

Thea was enthralled by Grimm's music. She kept one wary eye on Liore, who was giggling strangely, however. She was no child, and could tell when someone was drunk, but she was unsure how much drink an elf could hold. Some said they could not get drunk, and others said it took just a small sip of watery ale to set their heads spinning.
It was of no matter, as Thea was soon swept up in the drunken singing. Instead of attempting his words, however, she began to harmonize in her sweet soprano voice, wordless but gentle.

"Oh....myyy...I am ..hungry." He leaned his head back, and spied Thea again with semi-droopy, unfocused eyes. "keehehehe...Where the food is at...?" he said softly, and a bit curiously, half-focused on her voice, and the other half....not focused at all.

After Liore had walked off, Thelmore had returned to his home. Of course, no one knew that his home was even occupied, because the entrance was just a random door on the side of a windowless building neer the town square which everyone thought to be abandoned, and no one ever saw him enter or leave. The inside was almost filled with stacks of books lying everywhere, leaving only just enough room for a bed and some other things. Thelmore had only a small pile of books that he hadn't read so far, and then those he had read, he continued to remind himself of so he did not lose his skills in magic. It seemed like his entire purpose in life was to just stay and study until he was able to believe that the people persuing him were not a threat to him.
He silently took off his cloak and leaned his scythe against a wall before sitting on his bed and opening the book he had been reading before. This one though, was not about shadow magic, but elemental magic. Since they closely correspond in magical origin, Thelmore decided to study the elements too. It had been about an hour and a half of reading that he snapped the book shut because for some reason, meeting that elf made him very distracted that evening. He kept thinking of how tired he was of not being able to speak with anyone and of being alone. it never really was his choice in the first place, but after being in this town for so long, he had spent years and years, while barely saying more then a sentance to any one person who met him.
He pulled his cloak on again and grapped his scythe and carefully walked out the door while making sure no one saw him. He decided that he just needed a walk for a while to think and clear his head.
((I know, useless post, but I had to establish something so you guys could meet outside of the inn or something along those lines.))

((since no one else is going to reply....jackasses))
Another 30 minutes pass, and Liore is on his 4th mug of something strong, and feeling rather queasy. Apparently, drinking on an empty stomach is a terrible, terrible idea. He sat still a moment...his mind seeming to plead with him, Please, you better slow down.. He gave a faint burp, and rose from his seat, and staggered haphazardly out the door before ducking under the window.. "BLLARRF!!"
He caught his breath, and wiped his face with the back of his hand. The last time he'd been drinking like this was before he left the golden city, where he and his former partner parted ways. His eyes were now ringed in dark circles, and he, to put it bluntly, looked like hell. He leaned over and pushed himself back up from the ground and leaned against the wall with a groan..

Thelmore held his cloak to him in an attempt to hold out the chill air of the night. Despite the fact that it was cold, it still was quite refreshing to be out in the night air for once. For some reason though, he felt a bit odd seeing the streets so empty, but there was a nice peacefull feeling too it... Until he was just outside the inn and then a man burst out and vomited all over the pavement.
Despite the fact that Thelmore couldn't see who it was, he knew the man still wouldn't be able to see him in the darkness, so that didn't stop him from walking a few steps closer. he knew the man was probably just another drunkard, but that still didn't make him feel slightly sorry for him. He knew that loosing your previous meal was never a pleasant experience.
"Are you alright?" He asked quietly.

"Liore!" A voice called from inside. Thea came dashing out, brow creased with worry. "Are you all right, I -- eeeeeuuuuwww!" She skidded to halt and wrinkled her nose at the stench that erupted from the elf. "What the hell did you drink all that for anyway, you damn fool?!" She groused. Before she could continue to berate Liore, however, she noticed Thelmore's return -- although she didn't recognize him.

"eeeugh..." He groaned, peering lazily into the yellow-tinted window..."Ahh...I'm Shhhorry, Misshh Thea..I can' drin' a whole lot on a-urp!... empty shhhtomach." His aching, blurry eyes turned to look at Thel, who had approached him..."...Hey..it'shh...mr talkssh-a-lot..." He waved happily..or was that drunkenly?
He tried to stand up straight, but it seemed like it took quite a bit of effort, and he peered at the other elf..."I'm...good....ish...Whudder you doin' out here..?" He asked slurredly, trying desperately to regain his composure, having completely forgotten why he drank in the first place.

Liore.... wait a second.... LIORE?!
It took Thelmore a moment to process that name as soon as the girl... Thea, had said it, and it was only confirmed when Liore had recognised him. Now that he saw him more clearly, He realized that Liore had just tied a scarf on his head so that his ears weren't visible.
"Y... you..?!" This was just about all Thelmore could say in response to that. He really had no excuse for why he was there, and not only that, he was thinking of ways of avoiding notice while he was walking, and this completely contradicted that.

"heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy buuuuuddy!" He reached out to Thel, and clasped him in a tight (see: too tight) bear hug, grinning like a boozed up loon. "y'know....i'm.....sho glad there'sh anodder elf in dis town be to the sides of me.." He paused, grunting..and blinking out of sync. His skill in common just plummetted. "I think....you...are a ghost or sumfin...cause...you disappear like...POOF!....and then..you...come up to me and i run tino you and you haves a syfffee..thing...OH MY GODS!" He put a hand on Thel's chest extatically, staring at him. "You should be a grim reaper guy. Does are soooooooo.....interestin' to look at. Cept when you're 'botu to die..." He peered again at Thel..."I'ma not dyin' ams I?"
