So, anyone got any funny stories that came from helping someone out? Post 'em here, I want to hear them, or even just plain ole funny stories, we could all use a laugh now and then. Here's one of mine:
While I was responding to the flooding in Indiana, one of the tasks that was assigned to us was house mucking (clearing the house of any debris contaminated by flood water that could grow mold). This one trailer, we had to crawl underneath and rip out insulation from there. I had maybe eight inches of clearance between me and the insulation, and wearing a coverall and full face respirator. Now, this family that lived there was a cat family, I forget how many with however many kittens. They had found all but one mother cat that was about to give birth before the flooding occurred. So, anyways, I rip a piece of insulation down and hear a yowl as nine kittens, cat birthing fluid and fifteen pounds of angry mother cat fall on me. I found the cat.
ANGRY mother cat.

very similar story happened to me...well the girl next to me... so we were mucking houses in New Orleans after Katrina and it's hot and she figures it's hot and you know what's the probability that anything will happen if she doesn't zip the suit ((lightweight hazmat not the full ones tho basically just a full body covering)) up all the way... so there we are mucking out this house... and all of the sudden this dead mouse falls out of the ceiling and directly into her clevage through the 3-5 inch opening she left in her suit...
