Well... I originally though the Spaceport was a roleplaying board. Luckily, I wasn't frakking stupid enough to post as though it was.
So. Hello. I am Art(emesia). Like the Absinthe plant. (And yes, I am aware the plant is Artemisia with an i, but my name is spelled differently. Get over it, get on with your life, get a soda.) I am a fan of w00tness through Rachel! Of course, I'm one of those highly ingratiating newb fans, and I apologize in advance if I piss off veterans.
But seriously. w00tness = le shib.
Err... pirates rule over ninjas... ballroom dancing is the only real kind of dancing (although I make exceptions for swing, jazz, blues, and the occasional hip-hop/breakdance, as long as they're done with skill and/or relish)... deathcircle.com is made of copypasta... and that's about it for now.

Welcome to the site. Enjoy yourself, and prepare for a massive onslaught of poking (sorry, a tradition's a tradition) *poke*. (And one more thing, NEVER mention that you like pirates over ninjas. That's just asking for a verbal beatdown.)

Eh, it was a little unbalanced anyway. Glad to have some pirate fans. Sorta.
Anyways, *pokes*
Now back to my fever-induced Lord of the Rings marathon.

Welcome. We need a few pirate-lovers on this site. That way, we can start a debate over which is better!

Yay! Someone to support!
I can hold my goddamned own when it comes to liking pirates because let's face it.. rum and roast lamb over weak beer and dead fish in tasteless, tacky rice and (of all things) seaweed? We are made of win. And plundered goods.
GIVE ME MY POKIN'S, BITCHES!! -bares flabby white bhudda belly!-

Wait, where the hell do you get a sheep, much less a lamb, on the high seas?

Meat (live or not) was often aboard most plundered ships. Livestock was in fact carted back and forth via ships, and pirates wouldn't pass up the chance for some succulent sheepmeat or goat meat or-- well, anything else. Not to mention those bastard privateers dined like kings from English royalty's own hands. Those dastardly privateer captains and commodores often wore the best clothes, ate the best food, and their ships were equipped with the best bad men and the most advanced weaponry avaliable -- or at least the best equipment they could procure from the royal coffers and/or the ships they were legally allowed to plunder (everything but English ships... this included any foreign vessel, even those allowed to pass unscathed in English waters... as well as all pirates and other buccaneers sailing under any form of the skull and bones).
Beware. I'm not just a drooling fan of Jack Sparrow. I have at least some knowledge of pirates under my vest.
