I think we need a slot by our avatars for our XBL gamertags. Discuss .

There is, kinda. You could type it in where the caption under your avatar goes... like for chromos, instead of "Thats me, looking over the chaos in Orgrimmar from the city gates," he could type his gamertag, if he had one. ;D

But what if we like what we have instead of a Gamertag? I mean, it's not a problem for me, but what if someone else had a Gamertag but wanted to keep their message?

I honestly don't think that proboards has a feature for that, and I can't really do anything about that. Otherwise, I'd say sure.

Yeah, they probably don't Duo, do you have access to like...install your own features to the forums? Or is that all controlled through Proboards? Because if so I'm sure you could find things to mod the forums with other features. Meh, I'll talk to you about it later =P Since its kinda off-topic.

Well, due to the presence of the Karma system, my hypothesis is that there are a list of features from which to choose to put on the forum you're making.
And as for XBL, my Gamertag is Philoctetes 37! I'm in the mood for some Halo 2... ;D

Methinks Thebmatt goes to homestarrunner.com. Is this true? And why can't we put our gamertags in either our sig or our personal message? What's wrong with doing that?

Well, due to the presence of the Karma system, my hypothesis is that there are a list of features from which to choose to put on the forum you're making. Yes, I'm sure they do, I just don't know the details of how proboards does it, as I've never used them myself. I've coded my own forum before, so I know a bit about how they work, but places like proboards and stuff have sort of "already made" forums as far as I know. I was just wondering if they give you the option to pick your own things to add on. Without like...charging you. Maybe I'll go look it up at some point. Edit: Checked it out, and nevermind, Proboards doesn't give you much in the way of options. Sooo...ignore my question.

Ya, I'm not a big fan of Proboards, since it is just a basic, generic forum. I tried to look for a better forum-producer that gives more options, but they all cost money, so I gave up.

Aye. As some of the more seasoned members of the forum know, I ran the Old New Forum, also from Proboards. It's kinda basic, and options are severely limited to what's there and what's not.
