But do they?
I submit to you this theory. The Tau attacked Nimbosa, the colonists request aid from the Imperium. The closest forces to Nimbosa are a few regiments of Imperial Gaurd. The colonists refuse surrender and Brightsword massacres them. Then the IG show up and the tactically brilliant Brightsword commits annother massacre. After this the Tau, being the weak fools they are, call back Commander Brightsword for questioning on his tactics. After Brightsword is gone four (possibly more) chapters of Space Marines show up (the Black Templar, Ultra Marines, Raven Gaurd, Imperial Fists) most likely supported by a good amount of IG though... with the Black Templar you don't really need it (not because they are that good... which they are... but because they number much more then one thousand... each crusade is about a thousand if not more and there are four or five crusades... the Black Templar may actually be Legion strength). This massive ammount of Imperial forces thouroughly(sp?) trounce the Tau.
Also, Nimbosa is most likely under Imperial control due to this one fact. If you do not keep up an assualt on the Imperium and take more then one world, the Imperium will take it back... and fast.
And I believe we have officially hijacked this thread!

*has w0w exclamation mark over head, indicating quest for you*
If anyone can find the digital form of the painting inside of the Dec. 06 EGM that has the 3 Spartans (and the one in the foreground has the Rockets, AR, and pistol), then you will get "frayed leather gloves'' and 50 copper.
Seriously though, It'd be awesome if one of y'all could scrounge that off the interblarg for me.

Well, since it's a picture, here you go Kirk Yeah, I know, it's only the cover, but it's still an awesome picture.

Well, since it's a picture, here you go Kirk Yeah, I know, it's only the cover, but it's still an awesome picture. TAU MARKERLIGHT! (top right hand spartan. That's a markerlight) EDIT: "Sure, but uh... how?" using the magical power of, uh... photo's! We could each get a 6'x4' board set up and instead of actually seeing what each other are doing, sending photographs of unit placement, troop deployment, movement and dice results. For each other's models we could just use bits of paper as "placeholders". Unless you happen to have a Tau Hunter Cadre lying around... (not that I do but, you know. whatever)
